Pontiex Water Tower (30 x 36 in / 76.2 x 91.44 cm)
This striking painting contrasts the Pontiex Water Tower, rendered in grisaille style, to the vibrant sky above. Luminous yellow drips cascade over a radiant pink sky, adding dynamic energy to the composition. Part of Wendy Sharpe’s innovative drip painting series, this piece reflects her exploration of painting techniques, blending structure with fluidity and contrast. Created with support from the Saskatchewan Arts Board Independent Artist Grant program.
