This painting captures the quiet character of the alley access main door for Saskatoon’s Art Placement building. Painted in a refined grisaille style, the monochromatic tones emphasize the textures and forms of the scene, drawing attention to the interplay of light and shadow. The subtle details evoke a sense of stillness, offering a contemplative look at a space that often goes unnoticed.
